Malaysia wins silver in badminton men's team event, loses 1-3 to Indonesia in gold medal match

MANILA: Malaysia failed to dethrone Indonesia and had to settle for a Silver medal again in the SEA Games badminton men's team event.

In a repeat of 2017 Kuala Lumpur Games final, Malaysia went down 1-3 after Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi lost 16-21,19-21 to Ade Yusuf Santoso-Wahyu Nayaka Arya Pangkaryanira in the deciding second doubles tie at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex here on Wednesday (Dec 4).
