KUALA LUMPUR: Ampang Jaya BC have roped in He Guo Quan, Lin Dan’s coach during his junior days, to help prepare the team’s charge for glory in next month’s Junior Purple League (JPL).

Guo Quan, who resigned as the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) national coach after serving for eight months, is the club’s second coaching consultant from China. He joins former singles great Zhao Jianhua, who helped the club to finish sixth in the Kopiko Purple League last year.
