Kinan duo dominate tough Stage Four of Tour of Peninsular

Podium finish: Marcos Garcia of Spain (centre) of Kinan Cycling Team won Stage Four of the Tour of Peninsular (ToP) while teammate Thomas Lebas of France finished second. Indonesia’s Odie Purnomo Setiawan of PGN Road Cycling Team finished third.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS: Kinan Cycling Team’s Marcos Garcia stormed to victory in the most important stage of the inaugural Tour of Peninsular (ToP).

The fourth stage, which flagged off from Sungai Koyan and ended in Tanah Rata, is the shortest (89.5km) in the tour but featured a lung-bursting hors categorie (the most difficult type of climb in a race) stage up Cameron Highlands.
