FILIPINA-American sprinter Kristina Knott came so close to being hailed as the sprint queen of South-East Asia in her own country but was foiled by the smallest possible margin in the women’s 100m final.
Vietnam’s Tu Chin Le stole what would have been a spectacular moment for Knott by just 0.01 of a second to spoil a double joy for Knott who had won the 200m gold on Saturday.
