‘Media vital to curb fake news’

FAKE news and inflammatory messages can be spread via cyberspace easily nowadays, said Penang Chinese Town Hall vice-chairman Teh Eng Hin.

He said public education was vital to curb the spreading of fake news as it would bring negative effects to the government and the country.
