Move to make Johor Baru a vibrant attraction

Jalan Wong Ah Fook in downtown Johor Baru is undergoing changes as part of the Johor Baru city centre transformation project.

JOHOR BARU: Once popular Ungku Puan outdoor hawker centre is likely to be reintroduced as part of the on-going Johor Baru city centre transformation project.

Iskandar Regional Development Authority (Irda) chief executive officer Datuk Ibrahim Ismail said reopening the centre would help to bring back the crowds to the city centre, especially after office hours and at night.
