JOHOR BARU: Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) is partnering with Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) to help more small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Johor to penetrate the halal market in Japan.
Matrade Southern Regional Office director Zuaziezie Zulkefli said that there is a strong demand for Malaysian halal products in Japan that should be taken up by the SMEs in the state.
