THE Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) is partnering with an environmental protection organisation to create an award to recognise public and organisational efforts towards cleaning up and beautifying Sungai Klang.

“A lot has been spent on cleaning up and beautifying Sungai Klang and its tributaries. However, the efforts would be in vain without public and organisational support,” said DID River Basin Management Division director Md Khairi Selamat.
