MELAKA: Social media is emerging as a favourite platform to spread fake news by those with ill intentions, says World Assembly of Youth (WAY) president Datuk Seri Idris Haron.
He said fake news, especially on political issues, was often based on melodramatic and fictitious pictures to deceive readers.
