SEVERAL groups have submitted a joint memorandum to the state government against the degazettement of forests to make way for the Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Expressway (Suke) project and Damansara Shah Alam Highway (DASH).
Representatives from Peka Malaysia, Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM), Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), Save Green Lungs, Say No To Suke (SNTS) and Say No To DASH (SNTD) gathered at the lobby of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building in Shah Alam to present the memorandum to Sri Muda assemblyman Suhaimi Shafiei, who is also political secretary to Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
