Hotel will mark diamond jubilee with storytelling live concert on nation’s independence

The ‘Modern Grand Hotel‘ cast and crew are joined by The Federal Kuala Lumpur‘s management team members at the launch of the storytelling live concert.

THE year was 1957, three days before independence was declared in Malaya, when The Federal Kuala Lumpur officially opened its doors to the public.

Founded by the late Tan Sri Low Yat, the hotel hosted important guests and dignitaries who came to witness the country’s first National Day celebration, thus becoming a part of the country’s history.
