Pasdec to submit annual report 2018 before May 31

JF Apex Research: "Over a medium to long term outlook, we are cautious on the FBM KLCI performance as it still treads below the 100- and 200-day moving averages at 1,650 and 1,700 points respectively."

KUALA LUMPUR: Pasdec Holdings Bhd expects to release its audited annual report 2018 (AR 2018) to Bursa Malaysia Securities not later than May 31, 2019.

The company said on Wednesday the audit of its South African subsidiaries, Pasdec Resources SA Ltd (PRSA) and its group of companies had not been completed yet.

Pasdec said this was based on the discussions between the external auditors of PRSA, its group of companies and its external auditors, Messrs. Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad (HRM).

Hence, this had delayed the conclusion of the audit of Pasdec Group for FY18.

“The AR 2018 that includes the audited financial statements together with the auditors’ and directors’ reports for FY 2018 is now expected to be released to Bursa  Securities not later than May 31, 2019,” it said.

Pasdec said notwithstanding the above, it would try to issue and submit the AR 2018 to Bursa Securities and shareholders as early as possible.

“The board would like to assure all shareholders that apart from the reason stated above, there is no other reason for the delay in releasing the AR 2018 of Pasdec,” it said.

However, it said Bursa Securities would still suspend trading in its securities from Thursday and  uplift the suspension on the market day after the announcement/issuance of the AR 2018.
