Bank Negara international reserves down US$800m at Aug 15


Bank Negara Malaysia's international reserves fell by US$800mil to US$103.10bil as at Aug 15 from the RM103.90bil on July 31.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia's international reserves fell by US$800mil to US$103.10bil as at Aug 15 from the RM103.90bil on July 31.

“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt,” it said.
