KUALA LUMPUR: The total value of initial public offering (IPO) exercises in the Malaysian capital market will likely drop in 2018, even as more companies are listed on either the Main Market or Ace Market as compared to last year.
Bursa Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tajuddin Atan expects the value of IPOs in the local stock exchange this year to be lower than RM21bil, the value registered in 2017.
