Muar Ban Lee awarded RM16.6mil contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Muar Ban Lee Group Bhd (MBL) has been awarded a US$3.9mil (RM16.6mil) to supply 800 tons per 24 hours palm kernel crushing plant to PT Sari Dumai Sejati.

In its filing on Wednesday, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Muar Ban Lee Technology Sdn Bhd entered into a business contract agreement with PT Sari for the proposed project, which also includes the supply of ancillary machineries. 

“The board of directors of MBL is of the opinion that the contract is in the best interest of the MBL group,” it said.

It expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2015 and 2016. 

Shares in the company were up 1.28% to 79 sen as at 4.10pm today.
