Lead actor Kyo Chen, who portrays the title character in both the short and feature film versions of 'Guang', says he found it challenging to revisit the role.

A press statement from film distributor mm2 Entertainment said Guang had also been nominated in four categories – Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress – at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) Asian New Talent Awards.
