King Arthur's tale gets a reboot in 'The Kid Who Would Be King'

Where's a pen when you need one?

Director-writer Joe Cornish (Attack The Block) takes a stab at the legendary King Arthur tale by adding a twist to it.

Not only does he set The Kid Who Would Be King in the present day, but the main protagonists are youngsters. Alex (Ashbourne Serkis, son of Andy Serkis) learns there’s more to him than meets the eye when he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone at an abandoned area, and manages to pull out Excalibur in one swoop.
