The BBC’s Peaky Blinders triumphed at BAFTA’s British Academy Television Awards, which were handed out on April 13. The crime drama won best drama series beating out Netflix’s The Crown, which missed out for the second successive year.
The Crown’s leading actress Claire Foy also missed out for the second year running as the leading actress award went to Molly Windsor for BBC mini-series Three Girls. The show also took home the award for best mini-series. It won three awards at the BAFTA Craft awards in April.
