October is here, and you know what that means ... yup, Halloween, and lots and lots of horror movies to watch. Standing out from the crowd (for us, at least) are a live-action adaptation of hit Japanese anime Tokyo Ghoul, a remake of a classic 1980s thriller Flatliners, and even a movie about a Haunted Hotel in Genting Highlands.

But if you don't care for the scares, there are some pretty intriguing titles for you as well, including Blade Runner 2049 (sequel to the classic 1982 sci-fi film), award-winning Malaysian tearjerker Shuttle Life, local actioner Tombiruo, Korean comedy Midnight Runners, and of course, the big one in all senses of the word, Thor Ragnarok.
