Adiwiraku bagged the main prize at the 29th Malaysia Film Festival when it was named Best Film. It beat nominees Redha, Interchange, Hanyut and Desolasi at the event that took place in Putra World Trade Centre on Sept 23.

The drama directed by Eric Ong was inspired by the real-life story of students at SMK Pinang Tunggal in Sungai Petani, Kedah and their journey to a choral speaking competition.
