National Visual Arts Gallery celebrates 60th anniversary with stamp series


A limited edition set of six stamps has been issued by National Visual Arts Gallery to mark its 60th anniversary. In Buddha’s Four Noble Truths, there is a lesson that says the root of all suffering is desire.

This was the inspiration for visual artist Sharul Anuar Shaari’s Kurasa Kuasa (2001), which was one of the main prize winners of the Philip Morris Malaysia-Asean Art Awards that year.
