The modern history of menswear is set to go under the spotlight next summer, with the announcement of a new exhibition at the fashion event Pitti Uomo 94.
Titled “Evolution – Involution – Revolution Three Decades of Men's Fashion as Seen by Stefano Pilati”, the exhibition is described as “a personal reflection on contemporary fashion via a unique artistic approach”. Based on the first-hand experience of its curator Stefano Pilati, who was lead designer at Ermenegildo Zegna until 2016, it will offer an overview of the changing face of menswear throughout the past 30 years, touching on flashbacks, impressions, collaborations and rejections.
