The importance of personal branding – how people judge us based on our “perceived value” – cannot be underscored. So says Steve Wee, the founder of branding agency Brand Yourself and co-founder of the School Of Charisma.

He says creating a strong personal brand can build opportunities in our career and business. “Personal branding is important because it creates a high perceived value. People tend to buy people first before they buy into a product. That’s why it’s important that personal branding complements corporate branding.”
