If you are planning to take your four-legged friend with you on holiday, you will need to put in some effort to ensure they stay healthy and comfortable while on the road, especially in hot weather.
Firstly, you will need to ensure your dog or cat stays adequately hydrated. Especially on longer trips, your pet should have access to fresh water in a leak-proof bowl at all times, says animal welfare organisation Peta.
