Broccoli coffee, the latest way to ruin a perfectly good drink

Very little is needed to make a cup of coffee enjoyable, and yet somehow there is no shortage of added ingredients that have been inflicted upon this beloved beverage.

After turmeric, pumpkin flavouring and even charcoal powder coffees, the latest trend appears to be broccoli espressos, broccoli cappuccinos and broccoli lattes. A hipster hotspot in Melbourne has begun offering customers what they say is a healthier take on coffee.
