Sake has been enjoying a bit of a resurgence in Malaysia of late, with the Japanese rice wine gaining more mainstream acceptance outside of Japanese restaurants. It's not just the mainstream sake brands that are gaining prominence here, there are also more and more small craft sakes available in the market.
With that in mind, Nomi Tomo Sake House, a Malaysian distributor of craft sake, is organising the first ever Sake Festival Malaysia, with the aim of raising the awareness and appreciation towards the beverage in the Malaysian market.
