Second oldest living person 'sick' of being told how old she is

It was just a routine birthday for Jeralean Talley on May 23 – a visit to the doctor in the morning, and a cake in the afternoon – except that she turned 115. But please don’t remind her about it.

Michigan resident Talley is believed to be the oldest person in the US and the second-oldest in the world, according to Gerontology Research Group, which validates ages of the world’s longest-living people. The only person in the world confirmed to be older than Talley is Misao Okawa of Japan, who turned 116 in March, according to the Gerontology Research Group.
